The honor recognizes a media or technology company that has made a significant impact for the greater good in a niche, local or global community.

When asked about the biggest challenge that the company is facing at a panel of technology leaders during the IBC 2022 Show in Amsterdam, latakoo’s Co-founder and President Jade Kurian said, “The proliferation of credible information.”

Dedicated journalists all over the world are pumping factual, timely and often life-saving information into latakoo, which is critical to communities big and small.

In its entry for the Impact Award, latakoo gave examples of critical moments when journalists relied on latakoo technology while telling impactful stories.

These include reports covering mass shootings, deadly hurricanes, and the war in Ukraine.
